Bonnie Elisabeth Hawk is a graduate of the Austin School of Furniture 3 Month Intensive Program and a novice furniture maker in Frederick, Maryland. She is the creator of her small business, A Humble Carpentress LLC: woodcraft, soulcraft. Before catching the furniture bug, Bonnie earned a Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and served as an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church for ten years. Nationally recognized for her down-to-earth, authentic preaching style, Bonne is published in Day1, DIVINITY Magazine, and now Woodworker West. Bonnie is interested in building community through spirituality and creativity. She is an avid sewist, woodworker, and public speaker, as well as an ASF enthusiast.
