Class Description:
What is wood finish and why do we need it? More importantly… How do we do it well? In this 2 day class you will learn all about wood finishing and how to properly apply several types of wood finish. We will dive into the basic science of wood finish, learn about different types of finishes and what their pros/cons are. We will discuss applicators and practice using the finishes on a fun sample project for you to take home. You will walk about with a wood finish sample board and the confidence to choose a finish and apply it properly to your next furniture project. This class is appropriate for all skill levels.
