AUSTIN SCHOOL OF FURNITURE

TRADITIONAL CRAFT | MODERN EDUCATION

The Austin School of Furniture is 501(c)(3) Non-Profit woodworking and furniture school designed for dedicated hobbyists and aspiring professional furniture makers. ASF teaches the craft of furniture making through fundamental woodworking skill classes, small and large projects, design theory, joinery techniques, and construction methodology.

All woodworking classes are taught by woodworkers, furniture makers and designers with decades of experience. ASF approaches this craft from a traditional perspective but utilizes modern techniques, technology, and design trends.

ASF is for everyone! We welcome woodworkers of any skill level and any background. Full-time, part-time, evening, weekend, skills and project-based woodworking classes are all available at our location in Austin, TX.

We believe that woodworking should be fun and enjoyable. We strive to make our classes both educational and excited.

ASF pursues perfection in everything we do. This goes beyond the furniture we make and guides how we run our school.

We are big fans of respect and ask that everyone is treated with kindness and empathy.

Diverse backgrounds, experiences and viewpoints breed creativity. ASF welcomes everyone.

ASF tries to create a great learning environment by being humble and always being open to learning more.
