Evan L. Court is a full time studio furniture maker living and working in Dallas, TX. Having graduated from the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA. and also having studied fine art, Court mixes a focus on technique with a strong interest in design and concept to create his own unique flavor. “Work should be well made so that it is not distracting to the viewer, and at the same time thoroughly considered in its design so that it is inspiring”, says Court.

He has shared his thoughts on design with local publications and outlets as well as website features with fine woodworking magazine.

While residing in New England, Court was a invited artist with the New Hampshire Furniture Masters Association, a group with which he showed work in museums, galleries and institutions, over a 2 year period.
