Can you repair my furniture?

What is a Community Class?

Community Classes are beginner classes taught by volunteers. They are small class sizes, have limited number of tools used, easy projects and allow students to pay what they can.

Do you have classes for kids?

Why can I only buy one of each class?

Each student is required to sign our liability waiver. The waiver is signed electronically as part of the checkout process and can only be signed by the person purchasing the class. If you would like to purchase a class for another person we recommend getting them a Gift Card.

Do you accept the GI Bill

At the beginning of course! Our beginner courses do not have any prerequisites and require limited tools to get started. We recommend starting with Fundamentals of Woodworking or any of our Community Classes.

ASF is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit woodworking and furniture making school in Austin, Texas teaching the traditional craft of furniture making through a fun and modern approach to education.
