Scholarship Committee Application
The Scholarship Committee will be a separate group of individuals apart from the ASF Staff and Board of Directors. As a member of the Scholarship Committee you will be empowered to divide up scholarship funds, review applications, and determine scholarship awards within a team. Since you will be responsible for scholarship funds and sensitive information, all members of this committee will remain anonymous to the general public and scholarship recipients. Scholarships are awarded to aspiring woodworkers in need that belong to these 5 groups: General Financial Need, Veterans, LGBTQ+, Women, and BIPOC individuals. We are looking for committee members that also represent these groups. If on the committee, you will not be eligible for receiving a scholarship to ASF classes. By joining the ASFF Scholarship Committee, you’ll be part of a community that values craftsmanship, diversity, and the transformative power of education. Ready to make a difference?
