The Austin School of Furniture is looking for core members that seek access to the shop during the non-class time hours.  We are opening up a core membership to those that are already on their woodworking journey.  

We are seeking individuals that:

• Want access to a  large climate controlled shop.

• Want access to professional woodworking machines, project / lumber storage and personal tool storage on a monthly basis. 

• Have a flexible schedule and can work around class-time offerings (see online calendar for details here). 

• Willing to be evaluated for safe use of power tools, and are comfortable working on their own. No supervision will be provided. 

Benefits offered to qualified individuals:

• A full suite of furniture making power tools including table saws, band saws, planers, joiners, drill presses, small format ShopBot, and a variety of hand held power tools like routers, drills and sanders.  

• 24 hour access to the shop outside of class hours.

• A place to keep your hand tools and work in process.

• Month to month flexibility in membership.  Commit to only one month at a time.  

Price is $500/month.
