Cabinetry Level 2 is the next course in our Cabinetry Series at the Austin School of Furniture. In this class, students will construct a small lower cabinet with a door and drawer. All kinds of fun and valuable techniques are covered in this intermediate woodworking course.

Class Description:

Cabinetry Level 1 or an equivalent class must be completed before taking Cabinetry Level 2. This class builds upon foundational cabinetry skills to construct a modern slab-style lower cabinet. The cabinet parts will be rough cut ahead of time so students can focus on more advanced techniques. The main focus of this course will be on the design of lower cabinets, pedestals, doors, drawers, drawer slides and scribed finished ends. Each student will walk away with their own 18″ cabinet that will match the upper cabinet built in Level 1.
