Texas Woodworking Festival
This class is strategically place right after the Texas Woodworking Festival. We encourage you to come to town early and check out the festival the weekend before class.
Class Description:
Build this versatile, contemporary table. Learn about shaping curved parts, performing angled mortise and tenon joinery, and solutions for attaching solid wood tops. Go home with an elegant table that complements most living rooms and styles.
Topics and skills covered will include:
- Basic design and construction methodology
- Router table and router jig usage
- Angled joinery
- Solid wood tops
What you’ll need:
Required
- 6” Square, preferably double-sided
- 6” ruler
- Measuring Tape
- PPE
Optional (If you don’t bring your own you will have to share the school’s limited quantity)
- Spokeshave
- Work Apron
- Favorite sanding blocks
If you have done some woodworking, and have some tools you think would be useful, feel free to bring them. It does not hurt to bring more than you need.
