Class Description:

In this fun 5 day course you will learn foundational woodworking skills as well as new techniques and tools to craft your very own Live Edge Split Top Bench. The class will focus on using the material efficiently and selecting parts based on grain for both visual appeal and strength. Joinery will be cut using a PantoRouter, a drill press and a little handwork. The legs will be shaped into beautiful and consistent cylinders using the router table and tapered with a spokeshave. A fun technique of using a drill press jig and floating tenons will be taught so the rails can connect to the cylinders properly. All kinds of woodworking goodies are packed into this class. Not only will you walk away with your own bench but you learn amazing skills to be applied to future projects.

All materials and material costs are included except for the live edge slabs. We will go to Harvest Lumber Co. together to pick these out.

Actual project will vary slightly.
