Class Description:
Together we will dive into cabinetmaking, demystifying tambour doors, and crafting tiny drawers! We will learn the specific techniques and design elements necessary for designing a cabinet with sliding doors. We will tackle joinery, tambour tracks, assembling tambour doors, making jigs, fitting small drawers, and learning tactics necessary to make it all come together. Students will make their own wall-hanging cabinet! This class will be jam packed with tricks you can include in future projects.

What you’ll need:
Required
- PPE (Glasses, ear plugs, dust mask)

- Ruler
- Combination square
Recommended (If you don’t bring your own you will have to share the school’s limited quantity)
- Chisels
- Mallet
- Shoulder plane
- Flush cut saw (or any hand saw)
