A fun project class that teaches the basics of woodworking and furniture making. All students will make their own wall hanging mirror. This class is appropriate for beginner or intermediate practitioners. We’ll be working with router patterns, as well as machine cut joinery. A big emphasis will be on taking the project to finish.

Class Description:
In this three day class, students will work through an entire project and build their own wall hanging mirror. This project is appropriate for people of all skill levels, as you’ll gain confidence in a wide range of techniques relating to furniture construction. We’ll start with milled material, lay out parts, cut some joints, then create parts from templates. Students will be given a few different options for developing the parts from templates, as well. A great amount of focus will be placed on finish sanding and cleaning up a project after a glue up. We’ll even get a coat of finish on everything (time permitting) before installing the hardware and mirror. All students will leave with their very own elegant hanging mirror.
